Registration information for Paris 2nd city students

Please read instructions carefully before proceeding to the registration link at the end of this page!

Students attending the Global Cities Urban Realities program in spring 2017 must register for Paris courses beginning Monday, February 13 at 8:00 am California time and ending Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 11:59 pm California time.

This registration is definitive. Course books, readers, and library materials will be provided to students at the beginning of the program.

It is highly recommended that students study the course descriptions and sample syllabi carefully. All courses receive UC general education credits.

Students are encouraged to be in touch with their departmental Undergraduate Advisers if they wish these courses to count for major credit, since final decisions about credit for departmental majors remain with individual departments, not with the Study Centers.

Student requests for courses will be treated in the order in which they were received.  Note that courses will be assigned based on availability.  It is therefore in your best interest to complete your registration in a timely way.

You will be ranking your preferences for one of the three upper-division content courses.

In Paris, all students will be automatically enrolled in a City and Language course.  You do not need to register for this course.

Semester program students will be automatically enrolled in their semester content course, Nation and Identity in Modern France.  These students will not need to register for this course.

Semester with Internship program students will be automatically enrolled in their Internship + Workforce course.  These students will not need to register for this course.
